OXSIGHT is a University of Oxford spinout company committed to enhancing vision by developing products at the forefront of smart eyewear.

Our glasses are designed to enhance vision for those living with low sight due to central and peripheral vision loss. The glasses will require a usable amount of vision to work effectively. Your suitability will be assessed by our qualified in-house clinicians and you will get the opportunity to experience our products before you order. This ensures you get the right product for you.

OXSIGHT can offer a free demonstration in specific locations. We have approved clinical partners and a full schedule of regional events and information days where you can meet our clinical team and try our products. Onyx is an out-of-the-box solution to central vision loss, and you can order a pair yourself for immediate use. Crystal is an optometrist-fitted solution specifically for peripheral vision loss. A dedicated clinician will order and fit the glasses in order to optimise the product usage.

The different modes and features on both Crystal and Oynx enhance the benefits gained from the products. Our users report seeing faces of loved ones, family and colleagues with greater clarity. They can also help you identify text and TV images, experience concerts, cinemas and live events. The glasses help you to see even under limited light conditions.

Battery usage and recharge duration is similar to that of a modern mobile phone. The device will last for 2-3 hours of continuous use. Crystal can be extended to 9 hours with use of an external battery pack (not supplied). The glasses also feature a sleep mode which can increase battery life.

Once launched, Onyx glasses can be ordered through our website or through an OXSIGHT distribution partner. More information will be provided once the product is available.

Crystal glasses are dispensed by OXSIGHT specialists. If you are registered with an optometrist and they have not heard about our smart glasses, please refer them to our team for access to our products. Your specialist will fit them for you in person so you get the full benefits of our vision technology.

Every pair of OXSIGHT smart glasses come with a two-year parts and labour guarantee. If something needs repairing or adjusting in that period, you can contact us for help. If you need to insure your glasses against accidental damage, loss or theft, you should contact your insurer and ask for additional cover.
